Markus Goldstein

I am Markus Goldstein, a 45 years old Computer Scientist from Germany. I grew up in Würzburg and studied Computer Science in Furtwangen and Ulm, Germany. I am a passionate scientist in the area of artificial intelligence and especially machine learning. I am also holding a Ph.D. in this domain from the University of Kaiserslautern.
I lived in 7 differernt German cities as well as in California when being a visiting researcher at Stanford University. Furthermore I stayed in Fukuoka, Japan working as a Research Assistant Professor at Kyushu University. Now, I live in Ulm, Germany being a full Professor at Ulm University of Applied Sciences.
In my leisure time I mostly enjoy the outdoors. I am a keen runner, hiker and mountaineer, but also do appreciate any other outdoor sports such as climbing and diving. I also love travelling and seeing the world.
