I studied Computer Science at the University of Ulm, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.
Degree: Master in Computer Science (M.Sc.)
Location: Ulm, Germany
I completed my German Diploma Thesis "Scalable Streaming of Medical Images using JPEG-2000" in cooperation with Siemens Medical Solutions (now: Siemens Healthineers). I investigated how big medical images could be transferred efficiently over a network. Nowadays, the approach has been standardized in DICOM as well as in JPIP. More details about my thesis can be found in my granted patent application.
